Welcome
We strive for high quality and immediate service and will make every effort to ensure that your project will be a success. Although our core business is dextran and dextran derivatives, we have expertise in most aspects of polysaccharide chemistry. This includes not only synthesis but also chemical and physical chemical characterisation.
TdB Consultancy specialises particularly in the synthesis of fluorescent derivatives of polysaccharides and apart from the FITC- and TRITC-derivatives, we are at present preparing a new range of fluorophores. These products can be supplied in quantities from a few mg to kilograms.
Other well characterised Dextran derivatives of various molecular weights and substitution may be obtained from us for research and development. For example a wide range of dextran sulphates with various molecular weights and sulphate substitution is now available for customers who wish to test different applications.
DSS (dextran sulphate sodium) for experimental colitis research is always available for immediate delivery.
This product has been used for almost 20 years now and is made under strict controls.
If you have special requirements, we have long experience in customised products -synthesis, quality control, stability and all aspects of documentation. We will be happy to discuss your needs.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Please note that most of our products are hygroscopic. This may vary from derivative to derivative. Customers are therefore advised to keep all containers well sealed and for Ficoll and DEAE-derivatives preferably in a desiccator.
11.08.25
Customers may now order GEL PERMEATION CHROMATOGRAPHY(GPC) determinations. TdB Consultancy can measure molecular weights from a few thousand to 10 million. The equipment is especially designed for polysaccharides and their derivatives.
11.06.27
We are now pleased to offer the possibility of paying by credit card.
11.03.19
Dextran sulphate sodium (DSS) A new large batch (DB001-31) is now available which will ensure customers that they will receive the same batch for a considerable time.
09.06.01
We have now moved to modern facilities.
